Thurmon st mother load

Wow!

What a powerful outreach. Six of us went down to some apartments on Thurmon street Saturday and what a time we had. We've been there a few times but haven't been there in a few months.

At the end of the outreach someone made the comment "we hit the mother load". I'll have to agree on that one. First off the 2nd man we spoke to was a local pastor and he basically has the keys to the city. He said he has favor with the city and he can get us into any community center in the city, many of the neighborhoods we're in have these right in the middle and he wants to help us any way he can.

There was probably ten people outside in front of different apts. Terry Rodney and Curtis were praying for a guy who got a touch from the Holy Ghost, he actually jumped back as God touched him. He was a friend of an 83 yr old man who had gotten saved a few months ago, he was glad to see us. They also hit him with some words of knowledge that blew his mind.

As we were praying and ministering to people a number of people came out of their homes one woman named Gale gave her heart to the Lord with tears in her eyes.

It seemed like God literally showed up, one guy named Dale when asked if he was a Christian said no I'm a Baptist. A word of knowledge about him being 48 yrs old and that he's been thinking of starting a landscaping business really messed him up. He came under such conviction. At first he said "that's good, are you guys psychic or something." When we began to press in a little and encourage him that God has his number and He loves him so much, he almost couldn't handle it. He kept saying "this is really messing me up". I felt bad for him because I know what that conviction feels like and what it feels like to have God step into your day. It feels good and scary at the same time.

There was so much going on I really lost tract of all God did through his saints. I got a video testimony of Miss Lucy, she was an eighty yr old woman who needed prayer. Rodney and Renee went in and prayed and while they were praying she started shaking all over. God totally touched her with healing and love and she wants us to come back soon.

After things settled down a little bit we went up the street to a house we had been to before. There was a girl there named Jasmine who Renee had prayed for months ago, she had suffered from asthma and now testified of it being gone. Awesome Jesus!
